The Raging Bull Texas Stampede VI

January 16-18, 2009
Starting in Austin, Texas

FRIDAY

The Raging Bull Texas Stampede is planned to start in Austin, Texas
with lunch at The Oasis overlooking Lake Travis.
After lunch we'll get the Bull to start flexing its muscles all afternoon for 176 miles.
The beautiful Canyon of the Eagles Lodge and Nature Park overlooking
Lake Buchanan will be our hitchin' post for Friday night.
Nearly all of our lodge rooms have views of the lake.

Dinner Friday night will be at the Canyon Room Restaurant overlooking Lake Buchanan.

After dinner, Texas's own Cowboy Poet, Dennis Raines, will
come visit us to share his stories, poems, and songs.

Later that night, a member of the Austin Astronomical Society will
be present at the Eagle Eye Observatory for those interested
in exploring the moon, stars, and space through two powerful telescopes.

A special hayride trailer will transport us to and from the Observatory.

We'll bring the first day to a close with cartalk and swapping lies around the huge
outdoor fireplace reserved for our group with plenty of chairs and firewood.
